Elsewhere on Friday evening, Dean Adamson also celebrated a significant milestone: his 150th outing in a Bedford Blues shirt. Saturday saw Cornish Pirates, Ealing Trailfinders, Coventry and Jersey Reds all bank wins against opposition ranked below them in the table, as this year's title race looks set to go down to the wire.
