Round 7 Round-Up
Catch up on the weekend's action in The Championship.
Saturday saw 10 of the 11 clubs in action, with Doncaster Knights taking a Championship bye week and putting in an impressive shift against URC outfit Edinburgh Rugby in a friendly at Castle Park on Friday night. Hartpury, Bedford Blues, Coventry and Caldy all claimed wins in Round 7, with Ealing Trailfinders' match against Cornish Pirates abandoned in the second half after an injury sustained to Ben Grubb. We're pleased to report that Ben has since been discharged from hospital following tests and scans coming back clear, and is now back in Cornwall and undergoing rehab with Cornish Pirates. We all wish Ben a speedy recovery.
The weekend's results see Bedford Blues and Coventry both climb in the table.
